This is called being "Super Frugal"................

Has anyone else beside me ever thought about this? If you are really looking for a way to save money at the mall DON'T buy a whole meal from the food court. Usually in every food court the vendors give away samples of their food and drinks.............you know what's coming.......................save your money on food costs at the mall and just patronize the vendors offering up free samples. Take the money you saved and put it toward that cute pocketbook or pair of shoes! Until next time.........................................................

Be You!

I am an individual. I am my own person. I choose not to look like everyone else for a reason. It's good to be different. To everyone out there please dress the way YOU choose to dress. Wear your hair the way YOU choose to wear your hair. Be unique. Be different. Be you. Live your life, be yourself, and above all don't let anyone make you feel like you're not good enough. YOU'RE PERFECT!
Until next time................................

Been Away Too Long.....................................But I'm Back Now!

Can't believe I've been gone this long from my blog. Sometimes you can get so caught up with different things going on in life that you neglect some things and pay more attention to others. Unfortunately lately that's what I've been doing. But I've pledged that it will stop today. I'm going to give everything equal time and put my best effort into everything that I touch.

I went home for the Thanksgiving holiday and I saw family and friends.......some doing good and some doing not so good. Some have health issues and that really touched me. It just made me think about how life is so short and how we shouldn't take life for granted. Tomorrow is not promised to us so we should cherish every moment that we have on this earth.

I pledge to see my family and friends more often, call or text them at least once a day, and let them know that I love them every chance I get. I am so grateful to have family that loves me and that I am close to including my parents, my sister, my niece and nephew, and so many others.

If you are reading this post right now and you have family or friends that you haven't talked to in a while please give them a call and check up on them and let them know that you love them.
Until next time..........

Use Items in Your Kitchen for more than just Cooking! Part 1

                                        Olive Oil

  •  Fingernails. Use a bit of olive oil to moisturize cuticles, or mix oil and water and soak your hands before a manicure.
  • Control hair frizz. Comb a bit of olive oil through dry hair to tame the frizz and flyaways on humid days or in the winter.
  • Care for your kitty. Add a teaspoon of olive oil to your cat’s food to help prevent hairballs, and provide a shiny coat.
  •  DIY Lip balm. Mix olive oil and melted beeswax in a 1:1 ratio, with an essential oil for fragrance, and say goodbye to dry and chapped lips.
  •  As you bathe. Add a few tablespoons of olive oil to your running bath water. You’ll be amazed when you towel off.
  • Cure diaper rash. Gently wipe on olive oil to your baby’s bottom to help with the irritation of diaper rash.
